Burlington Community Tree Lighting & Santa Visit
Join us on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 5:30 pm on the Town Common, where the official Town Tree Lighting will take place. Sponsored by Kohler by Rite Window, Exit Reality Sonia Rollins and Associates and Nicole Cella Exit Premier Real Estate, the Tree Lighting is a much-anticipated annual event held on the Town Common and featuring live entertainment, activities, fireworks and a visit from Santa Claus.
In the event of inclement weather, Friday, December 5th, will be used as the date. Hope to see everybody there.
Holiday Trips & Tours
There’s something magical about enjoying live performances during the holiday season. The Burlington Park and Recreation Department is offering two trips that will satisfy that need for traditional Christmas experiences. In cooperation with Best of Times Entertainment, Burlington Rec is hosting two holiday experiences to kick off this festive season.
Christmas with Tony Bennett & Barbara Streisand
Wednesday, December 3, 2025, join Sharon Owens and Carmen Romano as they honor two of the greatest music legends of our time – Tony Bennett and Barbara Streisand. Trips leave from the Burlington Rec Center and require preregistration under activity code #01038.
Christmas at the Newport Mansions
Tour the spectacular mansions of Newport, Rhode Island, as they are opulently decorated for the holidays in the style of the Gilded Age. Explore the Breakers and the Marble House on Monday, December 8, 2025, on this trip while they are decked out for the season. Trips leave from the Burlington Rec Center and require preregistration under activity code #01039.
Burlington Holiday Home Tours
If you enjoy viewing homes decorated for the season with twinkling lights and seasonal decor, this event is ideal.
It’s time for the 4th Annual Holiday Home Tour in Burlington, Massachusetts! On December 9th from 5:30 to 9 pm, you can tour specially selected homes around town, beautifully decorated for the holidays, then head to our office at Kadilak Realty Group for appetizers, beer and wine, and an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to raise money for the Burlington WeeCare, a local non-profit.
The home tours will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 pm and the office will be open from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. Guests will receive an itinerary and map of all participating locations.
Kadilak Realty Group will also be collecting new or gently used toys, clothing, and shoes for kids ages newborn to teen to donate to Burlington’s Wee Care, a local nonprofit. They also accept supplies such as diapers, baby wipes, formula, and other necessities for mother and baby. To learn more about WeeCare, click here.
Santa Photo Experience
Head to the Burlington Mall from November 7th through December 24th to visit and take a photo with Santa Claus. If this Christmas is your little one’s first, they offer special hours for Baby’s First Christmas photo opportunities. Special sessions are also available to schedule your pet photos with the big man in red.
Get Seasonally Crafty
Join us in the Ceramic Room of Burlington Rec as Kidscreate Studio helps us create Glistening Snowflakes on December 13th from 9 – 10:30 am. This workshop will teach young artists (ages 12 and above) to use UV resin and pigments to create glistening snowflake ornaments.
