Archery on the Mark
If your children love books like The Hunger Games or Marvel Comics’ Green Arrow, you may want to explore Archery through Burlington’s Rec department. Children in grades four and up can experience the thrill of success of hitting their target as they learn the techniques needed to be a great shot. Classes are offered in three separate sessions throughout the fall and all equipment is provided.
Dance Your Way to Fitness
Whether you love steaming up the room with Salsa, Ballroom or Country Line Dancing, Burlington residents can take a spin on the dancefloor to learn a new step while also maintaining fitness. Ignis Art Ballroom Programs run throughout the fall and into December. Pick the style of dance you want to know, register for a Thursday class and get started dancing your way to fitness.
No experience or partner needed for this dance program, but you will want to bring your comfortable shoes and some water.
America’s Fastest Growing Sport – Pickleball
Whether you want to join the Burlington Rec crew or head to one of the hottest new businesses in Burlington, The Picklr, you can learn how to play pickleball and enjoy some time on the court with friends or competitors!
Explore the offerings at Burlington Rec or the lessons and memberships at the Picklr. Either way, you will get in on the fastest-growing sport in our nation. Enjoy drop-in play, advanced sessions or if you are new to the sport, try a lesson. You might get hooked.
