Beyond the area’s renowned universities, Burlington has access to many forms of education and training infrastructure to building capacity and opportunities for those seeking entry level jobs to those with advanced PhDs – our goal is to leverage local resources to augment the pool of talented employees living in and around Burlington.

To support those who have been hardest hit by the pandemic the Burlington and Bedford have partnered with Mass Hire to offer grants for training in the growing fields of life sciences and healthcare with up to $8K grants.

Shawsheen Tech
Shawsheen Tech serves Burlington, and four other neighboring towns with a student population of more than 1300 students, they offer 21 vocational career pathways in Arts, Communications & Business; Construction; Health Services; Manufacturing; Transportation, and Product Development.
